Your wedding in Barcelona deserves a cake as amazing and special as you are as a couple. With over 15 years of experience (since 2010), Mericakes specializes in luxury, custom-designed wedding cakes for Destination Weddings. We truly believe that every couple and every weeding is different, that’s why we work very hard to help you create a wedding cake according to your style and personal requirements—not only in the design but also in the fillings and the flavours. You deserve nothing but the wedding cake of your dreams!
We work diligently to ensure a perfect match in design, flavor, and budget. To receive your indicative, no-obligation quote and confirm our availability, please send an email to hola@mericakes.com with the following four mandatory details:
Wedding Date (Full Date: DD/MM/YYYY)
Venue Address (Full name and city for delivery calculation)
Number of Portions (We require a minimum of 60 portions for all wedding orders)
Design Inspiration (A link to our gallery or an inspiration image)
Once you have received and approved your personalized indicative quote, we proceed with the final stages.
We understand that visiting our atelier might not be possible. We offer two seamless ways to finalize your design:
Option A: Fully Remote (Our Standard for International Clients): We finalize all design details, flavors, and contract specifics via email or video call.
Option B: In-Person Tasting: If your schedule allows a visit to Barcelona, we can book a private tasting session. This session is exclusively for couples who have already approved the initial quote.
Tasting Details (Optional Session)
The tasting is exclusively prepared for you and costs €70. This fee is payable upon booking the tasting appointment.
The Selection: During your private tasting, you will sample 3 flavors chosen from our extensive menu: → VIEW OUR FLAVOR MENU HERE
The Benefit: Should you proceed with Mericakes, the €70 tasting fee will be fully deducted from your final wedding cake balance (for orders over €800).
SECURE YOUR DATE
Booking Deposit: A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to formally block and secure your wedding date.
Final Payment: The remaining 50% is due three weeks before the wedding date.
IMPORTANT: BOOKING ANTICIPATION
We work with a minimum of 2 months’ notice for wedding cake orders. However, as we are a small, artisan workshop, we can only accept 2 orders per week.
We strongly recommend booking as far in advance as possible (6 to 12 months is common), as our calendar fills up quickly, especially during the high season months (May to September).
Once the contract is signed, your only job is to relax and enjoy the rest of your planning. We handle the entire process from baking your custom, luxury flavors to the professional delivery and meticulous setup of your spectacular wedding cake at your venue on the big day.
Logistics Coordination:
We provide delivery, setup, and full coordination throughout all of Catalonia. We take full responsibility for contacting the venue, catering service, or wedding planner to coordinate all details, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience for you.
